CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – After nearly two months of games away from home, Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy finally takes the field at Grande Sports World once again for a U.S. Soccer Development Academy weekend doubleheader against Strikers FC in the headline of this weekend’s schedule.
RSL-AZ U-17/18 (4-1-2) welcome Strikers FC U-17/18 (1-6-2) to the Grande, looking to improve on their perfect 2-0-0 home record this season with a pair of wins against Strikers on Saturday and Sunday.
RSL-AZ U-15/16 (5-1-1) face off against Strikers FC U-15/16 (6-3-0) in the second half of Saturday and Sunday’s doubleheaders, motivated to continue to outperform their U-17/18 counterparts and right the wrong of last season’s playoff absence.
In the lone Elite game of the weekend, RSL-AZ Elite U-17 (4-1-0) face off against Sereno Tucson White (3-0-2) with their eyes on preserving their unbeaten State League record and getting one step closer to promotion for next season.
