Two Grande Sports Academy players called up to U-18 USMNT for tournament in Portugal

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Grande Sports Academy’s Brooks Lennon and Sebastian Saucedo have been called up to the Under-18 U.S. Men’s National Team roster for the U-18 International Tournament in Lisbon, Portugal.

Lennon, Saucedo and the rest of the U-18 USMNT will play Norway on June 6, Portugal on June 8 and Sweden on June 10 in the four-team tournament. The team took on Portugal’s Benfica U-19s today, drawing 1-1 in a pre-tournament exhibition.

Saucedo’s strong regular season helped his case in making the roster, finishing second in goals scored in the U-15/16 Development Academy regular season with 23 goals.

Next up for Real Salt Lake-Arizona U-15/16 and U-17/18 is the Development Academy playoffs, running from June 23-27 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.
