Global Image Sports and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. bring English football to the Grande

Grande Sports World is excited to have partnered with Global Image Sports and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. to bring top tier training and scouting to the Grande. Players from all over the U.S. and Canada were selected from ID Camps to join the Wolves at their national camp in Arizona. Players were also competing for a chance to be invited back to England to train with the Wolves academy players.

“Our subgoals are to assure that the players are getting an elite experience and high level of coaching,” Wolverhampton Academy lead foundation coach Jonathan Hunter-Barrette said. “And also to develop players in the Wolves way and the Wolves philosophy.”

Players were immersed in three sessions a day, where they learned what it is like to train at an Enlgish club.

“This is my first time,” camper Nick Pascua said. “It’s been motivational and inspirational at the same time. I’m benefitting [from it] and I’m learning. That’s all that matters to me.

As always, we here at Grande Sports World are proud to host and bring the top development opportunities for young athletes. Make sure to stay up to date on everything going on at the Grande by following us on Facebook and Twitter, and don’t forget to sign up for our weekly newsletter for great inside information and promos on our camps.
