CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Grande Sports Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Victor Fernandez and Claine Plummer to the soccer coaching staff for the 2015-16 season.

Victor Fernandez joins Grande Sports Academy after serving as an assistant coach for the Chicago Fire Academy, where his son Collin played before signing a Homegrown contract with the Fire in August 2014.

“I’ve always followed this academy,” said Fernandez. “I was always looking for an opportunity here and it’s finally come through.”

Former Jamaican National Team goalkeeper coach Claine Plummer joins Grande Sports Academy after most recently helping lead The Reggae Boyz to the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

“This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great coaching staff and a great program,” said Plummer. The facilities are second to none. These kids have no excuses, they have everything they could possibly need here to improve as a soccer player.”

The 2015-16 season kicks off on September 5! Stay tuned to GrandeSports.com for more information on the schedule of games for both Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy and Real Salt Lake-Arizona Elite.
