DALLAS – History will be made from March 29 – April 5 in Dallas as Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy and Elite compete in the Dallas Cup, Super Group and Generation adidas Cup against some of the top teams from around the world. RSL-AZ will be showcased with the opportunity to show that Grande Sports Academy is home to the best youth soccer academy in the United States.
After receiving an invitation to the prestigious Dallas Cup Super Group, RSL-AZ U-17/18 was drawn into Group B with Brazil’s Coritiba FC, Mexico’s Tigres UANL and Spain’s Valencia CF, needing to finish first in the group or as the top runner up to advance to the semifinals of the competition.
RSL-AZ Elite U-18 finds itself in Group A of the Dallas Cup U-19 bracket with Mexico’s Chiapas FC, England’s Knowsley Youth and New Jersey’s TSF Academy. The Elites will need to win their group or finish as the best runner up to advance to the quarterfinal.
Having qualified for the “Champions Division” of the Generation adidas Cup, RSL-AZ U-15/16 was drawn into Group B of the competition with FC Dallas, Spain’s Athletic Club Bilbao and Mexico’s Pumas UNAM. RSL-AZ U-15/16 will need to win their group or finish as the best second place team to advance to the semifinal.
