CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy looks to continue its positive run of form against the struggling San Juan Soccer Club this weekend while RSL-AZ Elite U-16 concludes Arizona State League with a chance at promotion on the line.

Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy U-17/18 (6-1-3) start the weekend’s action at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, facing off against San Juan Soccer Club (0-4-3) on Grande Sports World Field 3. Last season, the Claret-and-Cobalt beat San Juan by a combined ten goals on the road in the first games of the year.

Kicking off at the same time as the Academy 18s is RSL-AZ Elite U-16 (3-0-3), who will be kicking off at Quincie Douglas Park against Tucson Soccer Academy (2-2-2). Currently in fourth place out of eight teams, the Claret-and-Cobalt need a win over TSA and a draw or loss from Phoenix Premier FC against United Latinos on Sunday to secure promotion into Arizona State League Division 1 for next season.

In the second half of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy double header at Grande Sports World, RSL-AZ U-15/16 (4-3-3) clash with San Juan Soccer Club (0-6-1) as the Real Salt Lake 16s look to continue their climb up the table after their shaky start to the year.
