CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Grande Sports Academy is proud to announce that it will join Susan G. Komen and Banner Health in the fight against breast cancer for “Grande Sports Academy Kicks for the Cure,” an event taking place on Saturday, October 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Grande Sports World.

When Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy takes the field against the Los Angeles Galaxy, both teams will be wearing pink athletic tape, wristbands and captain’s armbands as a symbol of support in the fight against breast cancer.

Representatives from Susan G. Komen and the Banner Casa Grande Medical Center will be in attendance at the game to provide breast cancer education and help spread awareness about the services that are available in the local community.

Donations will be accepted at the game on behalf of Susan G. Komen to help contribute to this worthy cause.

In addition, players from Grande Sports Academy will be participating in the 22nd Annual Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure on Sunday, October 12 in further efforts to raise funds in search of the cure for breast cancer.

Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy U-17/18 kick off against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. on Grande Sports World Field 7, followed by the U-15/16 teams for each club kicking off at 12:30 p.m.
