CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – The student-athletes at Grande Sports Academy invest countless hours both on the field and in the classroom to improve each and every day, but they also give back to the community in their free time.

In September, boys from the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy travelled to Odyssey Preparatory Academy, the Boys & Girls Club of Casa Grande and the Len Colla Recreation Center to give their time to local children and share their love of the beautiful game.

At Odyssey Preparatory Academy, the Claret-and-Cobalt hosted a soccer clinic for the kids, teaching some fundamental soccer skills to build on for the future.

When RSL-AZ visited the Boys & Girls Club of Casa Grande, the boys participated in a series of scrimmages followed by question and answer sessions with the kids, where the boys stressed the importance of working hard at school.

The boys played another scrimmage at the Len Colla Recreation Center, splitting in half to team with the kids in attendance.

Stay tuned to GrandeSports.com for more of the Academy’s community service efforts in the future.
