CHICAGO – US U-20 MNT Head Coach Tab Ramos has named Grande Sports Academy alumni Romain Gall and Benji Lopez to the 20-man roster for the upcoming 2014 National Training Center Invitational in Carson, California.

The U-20 MNT will play Chile, Bermuda and Australia in the competition, running from July 14-18. Grande Sports Academy’s Adolfo “Fito” Ovalle has already been named to Chile’s roster for the competition.

Lopez scored a total of 21 goals in 36 games for Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy U-15/16 and U-17/18 in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 US Soccer Development Academy seasons. In July 2013, Lopez signed a professional contract with Real Salt Lake, becoming at that time the fourth Grande Sports Academy player to do so. Lopez currently plays for Arizona United SC of USL PRO on loan from RSL.

Gall scored six goals in thirty games for Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy U-15/16 in the 2010-11 USSDA season, making 16 starts. Following the season, Gall joined FC Lorient of Ligue 1, the top division in French soccer.

The USA will play Chile in their first match of the competition on Monday, July 14 at 4 pm on Mooch Myernick Field in Carson. They will then play Bermuda on July 16 before concluding against Australia on Friday, July 18th at 7 pm, with the final match being streamed on ussoccer.com
