COQUITLAM, BC – Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy U-15/16 clinched the US Soccer Development Academy Southwest Division and West Conference for the first time on Saturday following a 1-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
RSL-AZ U-15/16 capitalized on a man advantage in the second half when Danilo Acosta assisted on Tate Schmitt’s goal in the 63rd minute. Vancouver’s David Norman was sent off following his second yellow card of the game. Real Salt Lake-Arizona was able to hold on to the 1-0 lead, clinching first place in the Southwest Division and West Conference for the first time.
